January 28, 2006
Advertisement Lava Cable, a small high-end custom audio cable shop in Fayetteville, NC, has expanded its product line to include Gotham, George L's, Klotz, and Evidence Audio cables and is working to add more specialized high-end cables for the working musician and studios. These product lines are an addition to Canare and Belden lines that have been carried since the company's inception in May 2004. A member of NAMM, Lava Cable is expanding its product line to provide a full range of quality guitar, microphone and speaker cables for discriminating musicians. Cable prices for a standard 20' guitar cable will now range from $22.95 to $124.95. Lava Cable is becoming a one stop high-end custom cable shop with cables for every budget and need. Lava Cable owners now include high profile musicians such as Rick Derringer, Randy Bachman, Carmine D'Amico, Johnny A., Greg V, Chris Maresh, Jeff Rivera, and Seymour Duncan, amongst others. Lava Cable is one of only a handful of small, custom cable making shops across in the United States. The company now has more than 100 cable products to choose from, a line of AC power products designed and manufactured by the owner, along with guitar effects pedals from Visual Sound and Jim Dunlop, and guitar stings from Sfarzo Strings. It also is carrying a line of custom made speaker cabinets for guitar amplifiers, along with a guitar effects pedal board designed by the owner that will be available in March 2006.
