Gibson Guitar has announced the new Les Paul Standard Faded model with their "worn" finish treatment, available for the first time in Gibson's traditional sunburst colors: Worn Cherry Sunburst, Worn Honeyburst and Worn Tobacco Burst. The new model is also the first in Gibson's Faded family to feature the maple top cap that has made the Les Paul famous. The Standard Faded has the aura of the classic Les Paul Standards 1958-60, thanks to a genuine hand-stained lacquer process and a satin finish that allows the wood to resonate and gives the neck a very natural feel. The model also features the Gibson Burstbucker Pro (zebra coil) Alnico humbucking pickups. The Les Paul Faded is available with rounded '50s or slim '60s neck profile and is also available left-handed. MSRP is $2,848.00 For more information, visit their web site at http://www.gibson.com/.Recent Gibson headlines
