Songworks has introduced a new little hand-made amplifier, designed for practicing just about anywhere at low levels. The hand-assembled circuit features one 12AU7 and one 12AX7A tube driving a small output transformer to the internal Jensen Alnico P10R 10"speaker with 1/2 Watt of power. Typically used as a preamp tube, the 12AX7A is actually running as the power tube in this case. The Little Lanilei 1/2 Watt is intended to give you cranked amp tone at a volume that is quiet enough not disturb your neighbors. Connections include line out, two speaker outs (one of which disengages the internal speaker when in use), headphone out, and 3 way foot switchable gain settings. Controls are Preamp, Tone and Master. The Lanilei 1/2 Watt all-tube combo has the classic oxblood grill with the Lanilei logo in 16 color embroidery. Size is 12" x 12" x 9" and the amps weighs in at 14lbs Price: $549.00 The amp is available direct from songworks. You can talk directly with the builder via the Yahoo! Group at groups.yahoo.com/group/lanileiamps. For more information, visit their web site at http://www.songworks.com/.Recent Songworks headlines
