Emagic Offers Migration Plan for Windows Users
July 05, 2002
Advertisement In a step to keep users of Logic 5 for Windows in the Emagic family, the company has announced a free migration plan, but it will require a significant, and likely drastic, change in how you work. Beginning August 1, 2002, owners of Logic 5 (covers Logic Audio 5, Gold 5, and Platinum 5) will be eligible for a free crossgrade to the MacOS version of the same product. Full details on how to apply for the program have not yet been released, but Emagic has stated that the offer will only be available until December 31, 2002. Emagic also wanted to say that all users of Logic 5 for Windows will continues to receive all the service and support they are entitled to according to the standard product warranty policies beyond September 30th - the day the Windows product line will officially be discontinued. In fact, a 5.2 update to both the Mac and Windows versions of Logic is expected to be released shortly. For more information, visit their web site at http://www.emagic.de/.Recent Emagic headlines
