MASI Introduces SurCode for Dolby E Encoder

Advertisement Minnetonka Audio Software, Inc. (MASI) announces the addition of a Dolby E encoder to the SurCode family. SurCode for Dolby E Encoder is designed to compress up to 8 channels of audio in various program formats as a single stereo Dolby E file, completing the workflow from production to broadcast on a single workstation. Mac and PC installers for multiple plug-in standards including Pro Tools, VST, AudioTools AWE, and stand-alone are supplied with the purchase of a single SurCode for Dolby E Encoder license. The use of an iLok key makes the license portable, allowing it to be moved between workstations and facilities. "The addition of the Dolby E encoder continues our commitment of having SurCode be the most comprehensive line of professional surround sound software encoders and decoders," says John Schur, President of MASI. "This makes SurCode uniquely powerful for tasks such as automated conversion from Dolby E to Dolby Digital."
