New Guyatone Tube Distortion Pedals

Godlyke, Inc. announced the release of two new Guyatone Flip Series tube-powered effect pedals: the MM-X Metal Monster and OD-X Overdrive.

The MM-X Metal Monster ($249) offers grinding gain and singing sustain. The MM-X's hybrid circuitry yields everything from subtle grind to extreme saturation. Three-band EQ with a parametric midrange that covers the "sweet spot" between 200-6kHz allows for an unlimited variety of brutal tones, including the trademark "scooped mids.".

The OD-X Overdrive (list price $229) recreates the classic overdriven-amp tones of legendary Rock and Blues guitarists. Almost like adding a second preamp stage to the front-end of your amplifier, The OD-X brings out the best tonal aspects of your guitar and amp without sacrificing their signature tones. Drive, Contour, and Level controls offer everything from the slightly gritty volume boosts of a hard-working combo to the full-throttle attack of a full stack being pushed to its limits.

All Guyatone Flip Series Tube Effects feature the following:

12AX7WA vacuum tube
1/16" thick, bent-steel chassis with baked enamel finish and air vent for tube.
Tube socket isolated from PC board for low-noise operation
