MakeMusic Releases Finale PrintMusic 2007
October 18, 2006
Advertisement MakeMusic, Inc. announced today the release of Finale PrintMusic® 2007. From the makers of Finale®, this latest version of Finale PrintMusic includes native support for both Intel- and PowerPC-based Macintosh® as well as Windows® computers. PrintMusic is an affordable solution for songwriters, students, teachers, church musicians and band leaders - anyone who wants to easily create, hear and print publisher-quality music. PrintMusic users can enter notes with the mouse, computer keyboard, and/or a MIDI keyboard as well as by playing a brass or woodwind instrument using the exclusive MicNotator® feature. What's more, PrintMusic offers the same high-quality music scanning capabilities as Finale 2007 and can import and export MIDI and MusicXML files. Orchestrations can be created with up to 24 staves, and these staves can transpose to any key and for any instrument. PrintMusic offers percussion notation, automatic guitar chords, guitar tablature, and an unlimited numbers of lyric verses. PrintMusic aids the compositional process with Auto-Harmonizing - which can turn any melody into two- or three-part harmony, and Automatic Drum Grooves - which can instantly add drums to any song or score. Playback sounds great thanks to Human Playback®, automated swing playback and an integrated software synthesizer featuring more than 128 sounds plus dozens of high-quality marching percussion sounds from Row-Loff™. Thanks to compatibility with Finale NotePad® freeware, PrintMusic users can share their music with anyone on the Internet and create .mp3 files to burn CDs of their music. And of course, PrintMusic prints out scores and parts with the same precision as Finale. New Features Include:
