Mapex Now Offers Meridian Series Shell Packs

Advertisement Mapex continues expanding its product offering by making the Meridian Maple and Meridian Birch Series available as shell packs. The move is designed to attract players that are in the market for a second drum set and do not want to purchase additional hardware. Three of Mapex's most popular five-piece configurations, the Standard, Fusionease and the SRO are now available in both Maple and Birch in each series' five most popular lacquer finishes. All shell packs include a TH676 Tom Holder. "We realize that our customers want choices that make sense for their own unique situation," said Joe Vasko, Mapex USA Vice President/General Manager, "Whether it's out of convenience or necessity, it's not uncommon for an active player to consider the purchase a second set of drums. Given the high quality and the affordability of the Meridian Series, this option puts a superb second set of drums well within reach of most players." Meridian Maple five-piece shell packs carry an MSRP of $1,079.99 while the MSRP for five-piece Meridian Birch shell packs is set at $899.99. Mapex Meridian Series shell packs are available from all authorized Mapex Retailers. Mapex introduced the Meridian Maple and Meridian Birch Series in January 2009.
