Mapex Adds New Sparkle Finshes To Pro M Series

Advertisement Mapex has responded to consumer demand regarding finish selection of its Pro M drum set series. When first introduced in January 2006, the finishes Platinum Sparkle and Bermuda Sparkle were only available on the new 4-piece Classic configuration. Response to these two bright and unique lacquer finishes has prompted Mapex to immediately exapnd these colors to the entire Pro M Series. "These finishes have done very well and we've had many requests for other Pro M configurations in these sparkles," said Joe Hibbs, R&D/A&R Manager for Mapex USA. "We've decided to give the people what they want and expand the use of the colors across the entire product line." Platinum Sparkle and Bermuda Sparkle are now part of a 12-color palette for the all-maple Pro M Series. All Mapex lacquer finishes are hand applied and hand rubbed for depth, shine and durability. The Pro M Series is sold in ten different popular configurations and list prices range from $1529 to $2229. Throughout 2006, drummers purchasing a Pro M set in configurations other than the Classic and Classic Plus receive a free 12 x 7 Black Panther Maple and Cherry Snare.
