Master X3, TC Tools Get Pro Tools HD Support

TC Works has announced new versions of its TDM Plug-Ins Master X3 and TC Tools, which add support for Digidesign's Pro Tools HD.

"Pro Tools HD is a major step forward in regards to power and sonic performance for Digidesign's professional user base," saysRalf Schluenzen, CEO of TC Works. "Thanks to the greatly improved architecture and performance of HD systems, we are now able to provide 24/96 resolution for our classic TC Tools and Master X3 processors. We are very excited about joining this new pro-platform!"

Ed Gray, Digidesign's Director of Partnering Programs adds "Digidesign is truly happy to be collaborating again with the talented audio engineers of TC Works to bring TC Tools and Master X3 to Pro Tools HD. Since Digidesign delivered Pro Tools HD earlier this year, many customers have been in touch with both of our companies to demand these invaluable Plug-Ins," he continues. Both products now support Pro Tools 24 Mix and HD and are able to operate at sample rates up to 96kHz. Master X3 is available for Mac OS 9.x and Windows, whereas TC Tools is only available for Mac OS 9.x.

Master X3 Version 3.0 and TC Tools Version 3.5 will be available from TC Works' distributors end of September 2002.
