Siegmund's new Muddy Buddy is a low-power, miniature Micro Tube amplifier intended for practice and recording. The single ended class A output stage provides musical even-order harmonic break-up through an alnico speaker inside a fine-tuned solid wood finger joint cabinet. The Muddy Buddy's small diameter speaker is perfect for recording with microphones according to the company. A microphone can pick up more detail without being overloaded by the lower frequencies of larger speakers. Line Out can be used as a quasi overdrive pedal or to go directly into a mixer or recorder. The 8 ohm speaker output can also drive larger speaker cabinets. Custom wood cabinets and colors. Available also as chassis only version. These special purpose tubes used inside the Muddy Buddy were developed by the military to operate smoothly under extreme conditions with maximum life span. Features and specifications:
Every unit is individually handmade and comes complete with manual and one-year warranty. The Muddy Buddy has an introductory price of $649. The chassis only version is $449. For more information, visit their web site at http://www.siegmundguitars.com/.Recent Siegmund Guitars headlines
