Trombone Ensemble Performs at Museum of Making Music

June 23, 2006

On Saturday, July 8 at 1PM the Museum of Making Music, 5790 Armada Drive in Carlsbad, California, welcomes the "Rack of Bones" trombone choir for a free afternoon concert. "Rack of Bones" and Friends includes members of the Coastal Communities Concert Band whose small ensembles perform regular free concerts at the Museum.

This trombone choir, consisting of 12 of the finest trombone musicians in San Diego, will be playing a variety of music from marches to jazz. This array of musical styles will help demonstrate the capabilities and range of the trombone. Their performance will include marches, music from movies and Broadway as well as the big band era.

Don't miss this afternoon of trombone-filled music. This concert is free though a $5 suggested donation is greatly appreciated.
