Oregon Drum (a division of Logistix Productions, Inc) has introduced a new line of handcrafted snare drums featuring shells of Myrtle, a rare hardwood unique to the area surrounding their Coos Bay, Oregon location. In addition to offering drums built in the increasingly popular segmented (stave shell) manner, the Myrtlewood Series flagship is a solid shelled version which is lathe turned from a single piece of wood. These drums feature high quality hardware and finishing details including bonded neoprene washers, low-mass lugs and unique hardware plating combinations. Each Myrtlewood Series drum includes a padded, hard shell case as standard equipment. Recent Orgeon Drum headlines
