Nady Introduces UWS-1K 1,000-Channel UHF Wireless Microphone

Advertisement Nady Systems recently announced the introduction of their new 1,000-channel PLL frequency synthesized UHF wireless microphone/instrument system—the UWS-1K. This new system offers 1,000 user selectable frequencies per band, in addition to many other state-of-the-art features, at affordable new pricing for such advanced technology. Performance of the UWS-1K is unsurpassed, with 120 dB dynamic range and operation up to 500 ft line-of-sight. Nady's proprietary True Diversity circuitry (with 2 complete receiver front ends) virtually eliminates dropouts and maximizes operating range. Sophisticated IF filtering allows multiple UWS-1K systems to operate in the same location simultaneously. Setup is easy, with automatic channel-selected infrared (IR) download from the receiver to the transmitters, requiring only receiver adjustment. Other features include: Tone Squelch™ circuitry for protection from RF interference; front panel backlit LCD display indicating selected channel/frequency, SQL level, receiver level, A/B diversity status, and Audio LED bar graph for AF level; and back panel balanced XLR mic level and unbalanced 1/4" jack audio outputs. The UWS-1K half-rack size receiver can be rackmounted single or double and offers a choice of transmitters—the UH-1K handheld or the UB-1K bodypack (lavalier/headmic or instrument), all operated with 2 AA batteries.
