NuGen Audio Releases Monofilter 3 VST Plug-In Effect

NuGen Audio has announced the release of Monofilter 3. This is a major update.

Re-written from the ground up, Monofilter 3 is designed to give detailed control over stereo width and phase alignment below a user configurable crossover frequency.

Suggested applications:

Improving bass definition
Re-focussing bass frequencies where stereo FX have been used
Correcting problems in sounds sampled from vinyl
Correcting phase issues
Making frequency splits
Re-mastering old recordings
Preparing for mastering to vinyl
Tightening smeared stereo imaging
Handling live recordings and instruments
'Pychoacoustic panning' of bass sounds

Monofilter 3 now includes:

Exact WYSIWYG graphical display including filter slopes
Phase Alignment (manual and auto)
Level Trim (manual and auto)
Listen Modes
Digital Full Scale level meter with peak hold
Left and Right Clip margin
Filter slope adjustment
L/R balance control
Cut-off frequency adjustment
High Quality mode, where filter performance is critical
