Graphic Tech Guitar Labs has introduced 3 new Nut slabs and 3 new Saddle Slabs. Along with over 200 models of Graph Tech's blank and pre-slotted nuts and saddles, guitar techs and luthiers can upgrade as many as 80% of the estimated 40 million stringed instruments in the world today. TUSQ and TREM-NUT slabs were designed for guitars and basses that need extra length, height, or thickness. Both materials cut and file beautifully. Useful applications for Nut Slabs include fitting for wide neck guitars, machining on custom electric and custom compensated acoustic saddles, dealing with compensated nuts, and installing on 6, 7, and 8 string basses. TREM-NUT contains pressure-activated lubricants that are over 500% slipperier than graphite, and with TREM-NUT, strings float effortlessly back into tune. TUSQ contains no lubricants, and provides clear, bell-like highs with a big, open bottom end. TUSQ Nut Slabs
