Anyone who needs a low profile miking platform will find the DS7425 an invaluable tool. The key feature of the DS7425 is its folding base. The tripod design makes contact at three small points, cushioned by three non-slip rubber pads. This ensures wobble-free stability and minimizes the pick up of surface noise. When folded, the DS7425 is highly portable, easily stored or transported in bags, brief cases, backpacks, and more. When opened, it covers a broad 7.5" spread, safely distributing the weight of any standard microphone. A tough black powder coat finish looks fantastic and protects the steel base from corrosion.

A removable, virtually indestructible mic clip caps the chrome plated steel shaft. The universal clip is designed for use with most popular microphones, and features a wide tilt range, making for easy mic positioning. The overall height of the DS7425 can be adjusted from 4.3" to 6.7", tailoring it to specific microphones and users.
