Roland has announced the PM-1 Personal Monitor System, giving electronic percussionists and users of Roland's SPD-Series and HPD-15 Handsonic powerful monitoring for stage or home use. The PM-1 uses a 60-watt amplifier and 2-way speaker system to deliver powerful, clean sound tuned specifically for electronic percussion and hand percussion instruments including acoustic applications. Four channels are provided, including a high-quality XLR input, which can also accommodate a microphone; monitoring is possible through channel four. Built with an angled design, the PM-1 offers more natural monitoring and can even support a drum stand, making it ideal for use with Roland electronic percussion products like the SPD-20 Total Percussion Pad and HPD-15 HandSonic.
