Pearl Offers Limited Edition Redline Reference Kits

Advertisement Pearl's new Redline Reference drumsets are limited edition drumsets that feature Pearl's exclusive Reference shell recipe. To fully understand Reference Series drums you must accept that the desired tonal characteristics of a rack tom are completely different than that of a bass drum, and to make these drums with the some composition would result in a compromise. This is the mission behind Reference Series: To create a perfect sounding drum set where every drum is optimally engineered to produce the best sound possible within its respective tonal range and diameter...drum by drum by drum. For the redline drumsets, the rubber gaskets used to isolate the shells from the drum hardware have been infused with red dye to create a striking splash of color. Only 50 of each color set are available. The Limited Edition White on White Redline shell packs are available with a 13x9 rack tom, 16x16 and 18x16 floor toms, and a monstrous 24x18 bass drum. A matching 20-ply, 14x6.5 snare drum is also available. The Black on Black Redline shell pack features a 12x8 rack tom, 14x14 and 16x16 floor toms, and a booming 22x20 bass drum, with a 20-ply, 14x5 snare also available.
