PHASE 22 PCI Card Offers 24/96 I/O

TerraTec's PHASE 22 PCI audio card offers two analog input and output channels with resolution up to 24 bit/96 kHz, connecting to the world outside via balanced 1/4" jacks. An S/PDIF port provides links to digital gear, and is capable of digital audio playback at resolutions as high as 192 kHz. The PHASE 22 drivers are initially only available for PCs. A Mac version will follow shortly. Standard features include Windows ASIO 2.0 support, affording latency-free access to several inputs and outputs, as well as compatibility with the GigaStudio format GSIF. The device was developed with external sound generators in mind: A MIDI I/O boasting 16 channels is also on board. When the studio grows - and the demand for more inputs and outputs grow with it - up to four PHASE 22s can be cascaded and synced up in a computer via a single driver.
