Steinberg and Native Instruments announce the Pro-Five, which carries on the tradition from the legendary days of vintage cult synthesizers. This virtual instrument for Macintosh and Windows platform combines the sonic properties of the unique originals with the practical requirements of the present day. Inspired by the immortal sound of the synthesizer giants of the eighties, Native Instruments created the Pro-Five, to cast in software those qualities which have been a major influence on popular music in the past twenty years: brilliance, power, warmth, and beauty. According to Native Instruments, due to their creative development philosophy, "these timeless aesthetics have now reached the next step in their evolution. The result is the manifest re-definition of an original that was regarded as unrivalled until now." Native Instruments states that with their NSP-Technology (Native Signal Processing) it is now possible, for the first time, to generate a software synthesizer that equals its hardware predecessors. The Native Instruments Pro-Five sets new standards without denying its origins: no fixed limit to the number of voices, many times more preset memories, velocity sensitivity, MIDI automation of all available parameters and the option to run several Pro-Five's in parallel. With Steinberg's popular VST 2.0 and ASIO interfaces, the Native Instruments Pro-Five integrates perfectly into the computer based virtual studio. Features:
Macintosh
Windows PC
(NOTE: the actual performance of the VST plug-in depends on the performance of the computer system you use.) For more information, visit their web site at http://www.native-instruments.com/.Recent Native Instruments headlines
