New From HomeGrown: Pure Synthetic Ingredients

The first HomeGrown title to be produced by Australian producer SteveZ, Pure Synthetic Ingredients is a collection of sound FX in WAV format. This CD has been under development for 6 months and contains everything from atmospheres to bangs, thuds and clashes.

The collection contains over 500 files (400MB+) of unique sound effects and textures. Sounds are split into seven categories -

Actions: Suitable for use in multimedia productions and electronic music. Everything from "buildups" and "button presses" to "warnings" and "zaps".
Environments: These are sounds that evoke a sense of different sonic environments. Files in this category are perfect for creating evocative backgrounds and atmospheres for many applications.
Impacts: These sounds are split into the following types: claps, explosions, impacts, rumbles and thuds. Many of these sounds could be used in percussion sets as well.
Rhythms: This category contains various loops of either unusual rhythmic effects or imaginary machines.
Scratches: The sounds you hear in this category are kind of like vinyl record scratching, but more digital and synthetic.
Textures: This category has a variety of different "textured" sounds.
Waters: Various sounds connected with water (or other fluids) in some way.

All sound files are 16-bit, 44.1kHz WAV format and have detailed file information listed in the documentation. Loop points for the looping sounds are embedded for easy import into any hardware or software sampler (and loop points are listed in the documentation). However, such files will also play perfectly well from beginning to end if looping is not desired or enabled on playback.
