Waldorf Updates Q System Software

Waldorf Electronics has released version 3.0 of the operating system for the Q, supporting both rackmount and keyboard formats.
- PPG Filter -
The legendary lowpass filter of the
PPG Wave 2.3 synthesizer for
gorgeous lead und stunning bass
sounds.
- New Effect Types -
The FX section offers the new Reverb,
a syncronisable 16-times Tap Delay
and 2 Surround-Delays for real
6-channel-Mixes.
- HMT -
The Realtime Tuning Function (well
known from the Waldorf Microwave
and Wave) is now available for the Q
synthesizer global or per sound.
- Multimode Mixer -
Offers an overview of all important
Multimode parameters and makes
editing very easy.
- New MIDI Input/Output Routing
A completly redesigned MIDI Input
and Output Routing let you make very
complex live and sequencer
arrangements.
- Control Delay -
Delay a selected modulation source.
- Direct Mix Input -
Accepts an external audio signal into
the FX section of the Q without any
loss of voices.
- Search-by-Category -
Fast-Find function for all the different
sound categories.
- New edit functions -
Many new edit functions and revisions
of menu parameters help you to
program the Q as fast as possible.
The update also includes a 2001 Factory Sound Set as a standard MIDI file, Manual addendum in PDF format, and other documentation.
