Peter Linsener has released his second generation of FREE sample based rythm modules for PC VST2.0 hosts - the RM F.

The RM F is built on the RM-series sample engine and features 18 pads. Each pad can load two samples. It is 24 voice polyphonic (CPU dependent) and has a stereo as well as 6 individual outs. The sounds are based on standard WAV or AIFF files up to 24-bit / 96kHz in resolution.

Samples can be loaded directly from the instrument's front panel. The sound may be adjusted in volume and panning and may be tuned within a range of +- 6 semitones. Any parameter may be controlled with any external hardware controllers imagineable with LinPlug's ECS ('Easy Controller Setup').

RM F allows export and import of complete drum kits in it's own drum kit format. Furthermore drum kits of the Rupsta alpha may be loaded. Non-multisampled Steinberg LM-9 and LM-4 kits are also supported. This means that nearly all freely available LM-4 kits can be loaded into the RM F.

Automation and postprocessing functions of VST2.0 compatible host software are supported.

System requirements: A VST2.0 capable host software and a PC with at least 266MHz.

RM F is freeware, and can be upgraded to LinPlug's RM 2.
