Nady Introduces New Ribbon Mic

Nady Systems recently announced its new ribbon studio microphone, the RSM-2, offering the sound of a classic ribbon (velocity) mic. The RSM-2 features a 2-inch long, 2-micron thick aluminum ribbon design and "large, mellow" ribbon audio reproduction with smooth, natural low and high ends and 165 dB SPL capability. The mic has a figure-8 audio pickup pattern and is built with rugged, turned brass construction. The RSM-2 is available with either a platinum or gold finish grill and each mic is supplied with a soft, padded carrying/storage case. The RSM-2 will begin shipping in May, 2004.
