RadiantGrid Technologies Adds SurCode for Dolby Digital and Dolby E

Advertisement Minnetonka Audio Software announces RadiantGrid as a new OEM partner for SurCode for Dolby Digital and SurCode for Dolby E. The RadiantGrid™ Platform supports the encoding of multi-channel audio for VOD and IPTV formats, such as CableLabs 1.1 and 2.0, and can now offer customers Minnetonka Audio Software's industry-leading support for Dolby Digital Stereo and 5.1 decoding and encoding, in addition to Dolby E decoding. "Using the SurCode API, we are able to provide the highest-quality Dolby Digital encoding within our grid-enabled transcoding platform, and meet the high compatibility bar of our cable and IPTV distributors," said Kirk Marple, President and Chief Software Architect, RadiantGrid Technologies.
