Rees Electric Guitars Introduces F2 Semi-Acoustic And F2 Semi-Solid Guitars
September 21, 2007
Advertisement The new Rees F2 guitars are now in production in the workshop in Cambridge, England. They extend the range of Rees chambered guitars in a choice of two directions. The F2 Semi-acoustic provides rich wood tone, and quiet acoustic practice volume, while retaining the long sustain character and playing feel of a performance electric guitar. The F2 Semi-solid has the feedback-resistance and sharp attack of a solid guitar, with a bit of extra tonal modulation from the smaller chambers behind the F-hole and controls. The body is made of mahogany or korina, with a flame maple front. The maple neck with pau ferro or maple fret-board is of industry standard 25.5 inch removable size with a bone nut or Fender LSR roller nut. A double truss rod is conveniently adjustable from the side of the neck near the body. Unique, simple but versatile, control switching provides five humbucker sounds from bridge to neck voice using a 5-way selector switch, and also three single-coil sounds when the push-pull tone knob is pulled.
