Regal Tip Introduces New Drumstick Models
February 22, 2006
Advertisement In addition to its popular "Ping" model, Regal Tip has introduced two new models with round ball tips: the "Ride" and the "Crash". The "Ride" model has a diameter of .575" and a length of 16", just right for an all around, comfortable grip. The slightly longer and narrow taper provides better rebound for faster playing. For rockers, the "Crash" speaks its name out loud! With an increased diameter of .600" and a slightly larger neck and tip for extra durability and volume, this model stands up to your playing. The round tip on each model produces a clean and defined sound on cymbals. The original "Ping" model leans to the jazzy side of the fence, a thinner stick with a diameter of .525" and a short "beefy" taper to provide some punch behind the small ball tip.
