PRESS RELEASE
Reverend Expands The Stage King Series With The Flatroc Electric Guitar
October 03, 2006
Reverend has introduced the Flatroc guitar, one of their new Stage King
series.
The Flatroc features a solid spruce top (not veneer or plywood) and mahogany
body with strategically placed tone chambers for a resonant, light, and
lively instrument that responds to the player's touch.
This guitar combines the distinctive upper-mid growl of the Rockabilly era
with the sustain and attack of a solidbody. The bridge pickup is slightly
hotter then the neck pickup for balanced tone. The Revtron pickups are about
5% hotter overall than the originals, so they also work for blues and rock.
Features:
- Solid spruce top on chambered mahogany
- Two Reverend Revtron mini-humbuckers
- 3-Way pickup switch
- Wilkinson staggered EZ-Lock tuners
- Volume, Tone, and Bass Contour (bass roll off) controls
- 25.5" scale bolt-on maple neck with graphite nut and dual-action truss rod
- Rosewood fingerboard with 12" radius and 22 frets
- Retail price: $469
Options:
- Rock Orange, Tobacco Sunburst, Cream
- Les Trem tremolo ($100)
