Rocktron Updates Prophesy II Digital Guitar Preamp With New Presets From Dave Mustaine, Gary Hoey, And More

Rocktron has just enhanced its new Prophesy II digital guitar preamp with presets delivered by Dave Mustaine, Gary Hoey, Rusty Cooley, Jimi Bell and other world renowned artists.

Now shipping, the Prophesy II has a sleek new faceplate color scheme, and a box full of more new tones from a variety of artists. "We are so pleased to offer up a version of our flagship preamp with Dave Mustaine presets," commented Rocktron division President, Bob Waller. "Dave has used the Prophesy live and in the studio for years now and it has become an integral part of his Megadeth tone. As for Gary Hoey, he has been a longtime Rocktron endorser and has recorded and performed with almost every bit of Rocktron digital gear over the years, so he knows how to pull incredible tone out of our products."

Rocktron asked the artists to offer up some of their actual presets used in live and studio situations and the company was rewarded with a strong batch of tone to incorporate in the Prophesy II.
