Roland Releases Version 2.0 for V-SYNTH GT

The flagship V-Synth® GT Elastic Audio Synthesizer (http://www.rolandus.com/products/productdetails.aspx?ObjectId=847) has achieved worldwide acclaim for its unprecedented expression and realism, as well as its ability to achieve never-before-heard sounds. Roland Corporation U.S. is now pleased to announce the release of the Version 2.0 system update for the V-Synth GT.

This free, user-installable upgrade adds significant new features to the V-Synth GT's already formidable sound palette and user interface, building on the powerful foundation of the Elastic Audio Synthesis engine, revolutionary AP-SYNTHESIS technology, COSM®-based analog modeling, and PCM wave sampling and playback.

The release of Version 2.0 adds a number of new features to the V-Synth GT operating system:

• New cutting-edge sounds
• 22 new multi-effects and five new reverbs
• Added chromatic-scale pitch bender function
• Improved file import function (Patch/Tone/Wave/Sample)
• Improved user interface
• More USB storage functionality
