Sloof Lirpa is now shipping their new Stereo Aping Processor One ( SAP-1). As a 1/3-rack space Live Sound signal processor, the Stereo Aping Processor uses digital technology to recognize and convert a voice input to "ape" or imitate a specific list of "contemporary vocalists." Processor controls include a groundbreaking "slur" mechanism, which adjusts a host of preprogrammed frequencies, recreating an almost "drunken" effect. Also included, a "cheese" button, which sharpens mid frequencies as well as systematically syncs them with an internal midi setting. The SAP-1 includes XLR 1/4" balanced inputs/outputs, 48v phantom power, and comes with a very limited warranty. For more information, try spelling "Sloof Lirpa" backwards and note the date.
