SWR Sound Corporation has announced the latest addition to its Professional Series line of Bass Amplifiers. The Mo' Bass is a professional level bass amplifier with 400 Watts @ 4 ohms (each side stereo) and on-board analog effects. In its simplest form the Mo' Bass can be run bridged mono, with all its effects switched off. The Mo' Bass onboard limiter uses a peak detector and Full Wave Rectification to track the signals envelope and control its dynamics. The tube overdrive affects the pre-amps 12AX7 tube to create a range of overdrive effects. The subwave-octave employs a mixture of analog slope detection and digital logic, while the Mo' Bass bass synth uses Wave Form Modeling and a tracking system to enable a bass to sound like a classic analog synthesizer. The Mo' Bass also includes a chorus with adjustable depth and rate controls and an independent EQ section. For more information, visit their web site at http://www.swrsound.com/.Recent SWR headlines
