Sample Manager 1.0.2 Update Available

Audiofile Engineering has released 1.0.2 of Sample Manager. Based on feedback from users who downloaded the release candidates, a number of new features have been added since the first announcement of the product.

Sample Manager is a full-featured Batch Audio Processor for Mac OS X. Its features include:

• Full support of AIFF, WAVE and Sound Designer I and II audio files
• Partial support for ACID, Recycle, Apple Loop files, and split Sound Designer II files
• Supports any sample rate or bit depth
• Files are sortable by any parameter
• Detailed waveform view of the selected sample
• Detailed file and audio info
• Detailed batch editing of MIDI and beat-related info
• Background analyzing of newly added files
• Batch processes include Change Gain, Fade, Trim, Reverse, Convert, Process with AudioUnit, and many others
• Extract parts of audio files by threshold, selections, or regions
• DSP processes support all formats, bit depths, and sample rates with auto-dithering
• Auto-saving of files in-place, with additional options for file saving
• Highly advanced and detailed Loop Editor
• Unlimited undo
• Optimized for G4 and G5 with AltiVec
• MIDI and varispeed playback of the selected audio file

Sample Manager is priced at $49.

Future products include Wave Editor and Audio Analyzer (a real-time audio analyzer).
