SEK'D Announces Audio Analysis Software

SONOSCOPE is a stand-alone Windows application for real-time analysis of audio signals. Developed for use in mastering studios and audio laboratories, SONOSCOPE contains several different components. The main application is the real-time spectrum analyser. Additionally, a sample signal display, a level (peak) meter, a stereo meter, and a correlation degree meter have been included.

SONOSCOPE works with any Windows audio card, preferred are digital interfaces. But an internal compensation setup allows to use analogue cards as well.

Octave band display: 1/1, 1/3, 1/6, 1/9, 1/12, 1/24
Wide-band display: linear, logarithm (0,67Hz - 22kHz, the lower frequency is depend on the selected FFT resolution)
Sampling frequency:11025 Hz - 96000 Hz
Bit resolution: 8 Bit - 24 Bit
Frequency valuation curves: A, B, C, D
Display functions: Hanning, Hamming, Blackman, Bartlett
Average setting: Linear or exponential
Compensation: left and right channel separated, 2 units at time (e.g. sound card and test microphone)
Easy calibration of the inputs (separated left and right channel calibration possible)
Store function: 4 stored frequency curves per channel (+ active signal!) can be displayed and compared simultaneously
Peak-Hold function: Attack and decay time adjustable
Display and colour settings can be adjusted (frequency band display:: beam, lines, spleens)
Zoom function
