SoundEngine.com Releases Soviet Synths Volume 2

Advertisement Soviet Synths Volume 2 contains over 1700 samples contained in 160+ instruments from 16 classic Soviet-era analog synthesizers and drum machines. The samples on this PC and Mac compatible DVD are raw .WAV files (no EQ, FX, compression etc.) in 24-bit / 48 kHz sample format. Every patch folder contains 15 to 20 detailed mono samples, that represent recordings of every other note in the range of two or three octaves of the synthesizer to preserve accuracy. The note length averages 1 to 6 seconds (the longer length is necessary for realistic pads). Some sets contain repeated notes, but with various filter cutoff parameters. Long individual samples with real time opening and closed filter, LFO, cross-modulation and others are also available. The disk contains the sounds of such synthesizers as Aelita, Polivoks, Altair-231, Alisa-1387, Lell, Marsh, Ritm-2 and others. The sounds of some drum machines, such as Lell PSR and Rockton are also available. There is over 1GB of recorded material on this DVD-ROM.
