Death By Audio's sound experimentation labs introduce the Soundwave Breakdown. This pedal is the latest addition to designer Ackermann's line, and can add wild new sounds to any musician's arsenal. The Soundwave Breakdown is a two-knob pedal with oodles of fuzz, distortion, and overdrive sounds. The controls work much like a padlock, holding completely different sounds behind every individual position in their rotation. The variations can result in octave fuzz, stuttering, raging overdrive, chunky distortion, metallic robot noises, synthesizer sounds, and more. Death By Audio pedals are all hand made by Oliver Ackermann, built and tested at his Brooklyn studio. Each uses true bypass. The Soundwave Breakdown is now available through the Death By Audio website for $225, postage paid in the U.S. For more information, visit their web site at http://www.deathbyaudio.net.
