StarNotation Releases T-rox Studio Notation Software

StarNotation announces the release of the first commercial notation software that transcribes drums and harmonic instruments from polyphonic audio recordings. T-rox Studio is a music notation software that has built-in automatic transcription functions which help the user to transcribe music into scores.

T-rox Studio reads wave and mp3 files or songs from Audio CD and converts audio into sheet music notation. It creates staves displaying melody, harmonies (guitar and piano), bass and drum tracks. You can edit automatically created monophonic and polyphonic notes with the built-in notation editor, and you can compose your own songs as well. t-rox Studio allows you to create multi-track projects with mixed audio and midi channels. You can enrich the sound of your songs with its own built-in software synthesizers and audio effects.

Musicians use t-rox Studio as a tool to get an outline of the piece of music they want to transcribe and then typically zoom in on interesting details. Guitarists will play along with the chords, bass players read the tablature of the bass line and drummers get into the groove of the song with the drum patterns. The software also assists aspiring musicians in the process of learning to read sheet music.
