Schecter Guitar Research displayed a redesigned version of their popular Stiletto Custom Bass at the Winter NAMM Show. The Custom, available in a four and five string version, now features a multi-laminate Maple/Walnut neck, mahogany body, and a highly figured maple top. The neck is bolted into the body via a unique 6-bollt method, allowing for extreme tuning stability and access to the upper frets. The Basses are equipped with EMG Hz pickups and an EMG Active EQ Circuit with Bass and Treble 12db cut/boost. A massive Schecter S-Tek bridge adds to the instrument's acoustic resonance. As with all Stiletto basses, the 5-String version is 35" scale for low 'B' Clarity. The Stiletto Customs are available in Transparent Black (STBLK) with Satin Chrome Hardware and Vintage Natural Satin (NAT) w/ Satin Gold hardware. Suggested retail Price:
Left-handed versions are available (STBLK only) for an additional $50.00 retail For more information, visit their web site at http://www.schecterguitars.com/.Recent Schecter headlines
