Superlux WB-383 Clip-On Instrument Mic Now Shipping

Avlex Corporation is pleased to announce that the Superlux WB-383 Clip-on Instrument Microphone is now shipping. A low profile, cardioid condenser microphone designed for use with brass, woodwinds, strings, snare drum, toms, and other instruments, the Superlux WB-383 easily attaches to variety of surfaces—making the microphone ideal for capturing a wide range of musical performances.

As a cardioid condenser microphone, the WB-383 is optimized for capturing signals from the front and, hence, has superior off-axis rejection—enabling recording engineers, for example, to capture the target instrument with minimal interference from adjacent instruments. Combined with superior gain before feedback, the WB-383 makes it easy to achieve good, strong signal levels.

The new Superlux WB-383's superior sound quality is also a result of its 40 Hz - 18 kHz extended frequency response, enabling the microphone to capture a wide range of instruments. Additionally, with its high SPL (sound pressure level) capability, the WB-383 can accommodate loud instruments such as trumpets and percussion.
