Syntrax is a music package created for the mobile phone. Syntrax runs on Symbian phones as well as the PocketPC. Even though mobile phones have limited resources, Syntrax is designed to deliver all the features the modern musician expects from a mobile pocket studio.

The core of Syntrax is it's compact soundengine which delivers sound synthesis and sample playback. Syntrax enables the musician who is away from his/her studio to be able to experiment with sounds, and doodle musical inspirations any time, anywhere.

Upto 8 stereo audio channels simultaneously (previously only 6)
Playback of samples with bi-directional looping support
Realtime sound synthesis with 15 sound generation effects
Realtime effects like filters, morphs and echoes
A built in small sample editor
A full featured sequencer
Dynamic playback options (songspeed, groove, muting etc)
Realtime instrument parameter changing
A lot of preset songs and sounds for you to start working with
User adjustable sound quality for slower mobile devices
MIDI and Wav export functions

Syntrax has been tested on: Sony Ericsson p800, p900 and p910i, the Motorola A925 UMTS phone and all PocketPC brands.

A Symbian Series 60 version (Nokia 7650,6600,6620,7610,N-Gage and Siemens SX1) is in the making and will follow shortly.
