Ibanez expanded its amp line with a new 25 watt stereo acoustic amplifier. "If you want to do complete justice to an acoustic-electric guitar and reproduce that wonderful acoustic depth, you need a stereo amp," stated Ibanez Communications. "There are other stereo acoustic amps in this approximate price range, but we believe we’ve got the superior combination of specs. We’re using two 10" speakers instead of 8’s and we’ve got a bigger cabinet for a richer low-end response. To better handle the high end, the TA225C features two tweeters instead of just one. And we’ve got three channels—all that a price that’s below the competition."

"The bottom line is the TA225C is a ‘giggable’ amp at a great price. It’s completely portable, has both chorus and reverb and it’s got the sound volume and quality you need to do a superior small venue gig."
