Tama Re-Releases Original 2005 Superstar Sizes

To set its second-generation Superstar apart from the rest of the intermediate drum pack, Tama, for a time, only offered its pre-packaged (catalog) Superstar kits in the innovative Hyper-Drive configuration, which features "short" shallow-depth toms combined with a deeper bass drum. But some retailers and players still preferred the slightly deeper toms of the "Accel-Driver" configuration of the 2005 kits.

Now, everyone will be happy, as Tama will offer both.

Four-, five-, and six-piece catalog sets will be available in the Accel-Driver configuration, with or without hardware. Individually-ordered drums are also available in Superstar sizes. Superstar is also available in both lacquer and wrap finishes.
