The Tama Drum Company is more than a little excited about its third generation of Swingstar drums. "Normally drums in the $799 entry level arent going to elicit more than a "yeah, fine, what do they cost," response from dealers," stated Tama Communications, "but the drum shops who have seen these are blown away. Our previous Swingstars were good drums at a good price, but these are great drums for a good price. We are just really proud of these pieces. This is the golden age of entry level drumsyouve got inexpensive drums that are superior in many ways to the expensive drums of the past." Tamas new Swingstar drums feature new lugs, a completely redesigned spur system, Accu-Tune bass drum hoops, and an entirely new line of improved pedals and stands. Tamas acclaimed 8-ply Philippine mahogany shell with the Tama five year shell limited warranty remains unchanged. Tama Swingstar drums are available in three metallic finishes, Vintage Blue, Vintage Red, and Vintage Silver, as well as standard Black. Deep Forest Green is available as a special order.
