PRESS RELEASE
PT 6, OS X Support for Total Library Server
January 14, 2003
Advertisement Sonomic announced that its Total Library Server (TLS) now supports Digidesign's Pro Tools 6.0 and Apple's new OS X operating system. The Total Library Server (www.sonomic.com/server) allows any engineer to instantly search for, audition, and import to Pro Tools any sound in their studio's library. If the TLS doesn't have the sounds that are needed, it will automatically query and download from the 200,000 sound (and growing) Sonomic Online Library, featuring Sound Ideas, the BBC, Serafine, Zero-G, Q Up Arts, Valentino, and many other top libraries. Waveform overviews, region selection, taglists, quickeys, and a host of other features save even more time and let engineers stay focused on creating instead of searching. The TLS can be accessed through any networked workstation using the TLS Client Software. The new v2.7 Client is fully compatible with OS X, so users take full advantage of new features present in Pro Tools 6.0 and enabled by Apple's new operating system. The TLS starts at USD $7,995 and comes with the following:
