April 30, 2003

With feedback from customers all over the world and input from members of the Harmony Central forum, the Tube Zone overdrive pedal by MI Audio has been updated. The first change to be made to the pedal has been a reduction of the overall pedal height. The new sleeker diecast aluminium case is approximately half the height of the old case, making the pedal easier to engage by foot. Also, the input/output jacks have been moved to the audience end of the pedal in order to allow the user to place the pedal closer to other pedals. Internally, the switching mechanism has also been updated. The new Tube Zone now utilizes a custom made heavy duty 3PDT footswitch in order to ensure reliable true-bypass operation. The new Tube Zone still sports the same look of the original, with chrome knobs and a high intensity blue LED. And the circuit is still the same design. The Tube Zone is hand-made on an order-by-order basis in Sydney Australia. And the price is still only US$159.95.
