Ultralife Batteries Debuts PowerBug 9-Volt Lithium Battery

Ultralife Batteries today introduced the PowerBug® 9-volt lithium battery to serve the music-audio market.

The PowerBug lasts up to five times longer than standard alkaline batteries, without having to pay five times the price, allowing musicians and sound professionals an opportunity to save a significant amount of money while eliminating the hassle of changing batteries after each gig or each set. And because the PowerBug has a flat discharge curve, meaning the battery operates at a higher voltage over a longer period of time, instrument electronics will benefit from increased headroom, resulting in a much cleaner and crisp sound that alkaline batteries simply cannot match.

Already in use by world-class bass players, national & regional bands, and high-end instrument makers, the PowerBug is now available to ship within the continental U.S.
