V-Picks Releases Clear Acrylic Pickguards to fit Les Paul Guitars

November 06, 2008

Back in the 70's when I played Les Pauls, the first thing I would do when I got one home would be to remove that ugly pickguard so I could look like Peter Frampton! Why do those stock pickguards have to be so ugly? Well, they don't!

V-Picks has now released redesigned and improved, clear acrylic pickguards with your name on them! Personalized V-Guards. They are too cool. They look good, they feel good and they even photograph well. Notice how you can see the wood and the guitar as a whole with these clear acrylic beauties. Why pay for all that beautifull wood and then cover it up with cream colored plastic? That just never made sense to me. Please notice also how the lines of the guitar are back. Just like taking the pickguard off completely, only this way you have some protection on the front of your investment. Even if the Les Paul is a Gold Top or Black Beauty. That cream colored or black pickguard is just so disruptive! It is like talking to a beautifull girl with a big pimple on her nose. All you can do is stare at her nose!

These pickguards are all going to be "one of a kind". We will make them as you order them. We can put your name, your stage name, your bands name, heck, even your girlfriend's name on it if you want! And this is no cheezey decal or air brush job with the name either. This is lazer etched. It is there to say!

Please note: These pickguards only fit Gibson Les Pauls. They may or may not fit on other models. No guarantee for any knock-offs. I can only guarantee they will fit on the real deal!

Thes Clear Acrylic Pickguards are available for left-handed models as well. Come and see these new pickguards at http://www.v-picks.com/VGuard.html
