Voodoo Lab Introduces Pedal Switcher And Commander Effects Control Units
January 17, 2007
Advertisement Voodoo Lab announced the release of two products today—Pedal Switcher and Commander. Designed to sit on your pedalboard, Pedal Switcher uses 4 true bypass loops to send your signal only to the pedals you're using. "On a traditional pedalboard, even when the effects are off, your signal still goes through numerous tone-trashing buffers, solid-state switches and patch cables," explained Josh Fiden, CEO/Founder, Voodoo Lab. "Pedal Switcher uses true bypass gold relays sealed in nitrogen, so no matter how many pedals you use, your tone stays pure and dynamic," said Fiden. Pedal Switcher also features 4 instant access switches, buffered and non-buffered inputs, and a TRS insert for putting devices like a volume pedal between effects. Loops can also be used as a mute for silent tuning onstage, and A/B amp switching. Voodoo Lab's Commander can control an unlimited number of Pedal Switcher units allowing you to store combinations of pedals. "With a single footswitch, you can go from a distorted lead with delay, to straight guitar-cable-amp tone without ever missing a note," said Fiden. Commander features 10 user customizable presets and is phantom powered by the Pedal Switcher. Pedal Switcher MSRP: $300.00 Recent Voodoo Lab headlines
