Zion Guitar Technology's new guitar models utilize a variety of exotic tops from 1/4" to 1/2" thick with a tonewood back of Swampash, Mahogany or Basswood. Shown is a Paduak (puh-dook') top with custom inlays on body and neck. A Crotch-mahogany guitar is also shown, revealing the wood's streaked or flamy figure. Additionally, Zion has an selection of Purpleheart, Bloodwood, and Flamed Koa available to suit your specific tastes. The tops exhibit a range of natural colors and are finished in clear gloss, not utilizing any stain. Zion artisans also insert a piece of thin ebonized veneer between the figured top and body that provides an elegant black accent stripe around the perimeter of the body. The Padauk guitar features crown design Mother of Pearl fingerboard inlays, a real Mother of Pearl truss rod cover, and custom Mother of Pearl body inlay. The Zion logo is Abalone inlaid into an ebony peghead cap. This particular guitar is available right now.
